The iconic luxury brand's first introduction to China, Raffles Hainan design inspiration is derived the culture of Li ethnic minority who inhabited these lands since ancient history.  Their artistic textiles and crafts were used abstractly throughout the resort in honor and memory of their cultural heritage in the area.

A meandering entry drive through heavily landscaped gardens is intended to decompress guests and prepare their spirits for a luxurious relaxing holiday.  289 rooms and suites located in two resort guest room wings are oriented towards ocean views with lush tropical courtyards and gardens enriching guest experience circulating throughout the resort.
